Many of our projects have involved recreational components that are specific to the needs of each community. We are proud of our involvement with many historical preservation projects.
National Ability Center
Location
Park City, Utah
Designed and constructed to meet the needs of this non-profit center. This project involved the construction of a 14,200 square foot, two-story dormitory and a separate 7,700 square foot, two story reception and administration building, both wood framed.
Weber State Women's Softball Field
Location
Weber State University Ogden, Utah
NCAA certified for college-level play. This project involved the construction of team dugouts, pitching bullpen, batting cages, and more. To be NCAA certified, the field was laser graded to meet specified tolerances and BioGrass was installed for the outfield.
Kearns-St. Ann School
Location
Salt Lake City, Utah
Complete restoration to historical Catholic School. This complex and specialized project won the National Excellence in Construction Award and the Utah Excellence in Construction Award upon its completion. The restoration of this 100 plus year old historically registered Catholic School building involved major seismic upgrades to the exterior and extensive modifications to the interior. Transforming the old school into a new state-of-the-art teaching facility, while preserving the architectural integrity of the building, required close coordination with the Architect, Engineers, Historical Council and the Catholic Diocese. This was a ten year phased project with the school open for use during each year’s school session. This project won the Salt Lake City Historic Landmark Commission Award of Merit when completed.
